I am a designer and an artist

and I appreciate the difference between the two.

Like everyone else, I became an artist around age 3.  I fell in love with the paper, pens, and even the computer (that I also sometimes hate a little). I am passionate about life and am one of the lucky few that makes a living doing what I love.  I attended UCSC (go Slugs!) for Fine Arts with an emphasis in drawing, then finished at UCLA (go Bruins!) with a BFA in Design | Media Arts.  For the past 10 years I have been designing for print, web, and apparel in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I have a passion for creating art with meaning, being able to convey a message effectively and elegantly, and learning how to improve myself.

Outside of work I enjoy drawing on furniture, fly fishing, Spain, and hot pink.
